Admission Workflow

  1. The amount of admission fee, fee waiver condition etc. are mentioned in the cover page of each rank list.

  2. After the admission session at the respective department, each admitted student will be confirmed by the respective academic department after due verification of the records.

  3. Once the department confirms the admission of a student, the student will be able to pay the admission fee.

  4. It is also important that the student furnishes required information for a fee waiver, subject to entitlement of fee waiver.

  5. The student can choose any of the following methods to pay the admission fee

    • Online payment through IUMS portal (https://guportal.in)

    • SBI Collect (https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm)

    • Payment through bank counters set up for the purpose of PG admission 2022-23 in the university campus (swipe/cash or QR code collection)

      Note that if a student chooses to pay through SBI Collect or through Bank Counter, the student needs to submit the physically signed payment receipt to the respective department before the last date for payment (see below). In case, a student pays through ONLINE mode in the IUMS portal, the student need NOT do anything.

  6. The payment of the admission fee can be paid till Thursday, 18 August, 2022.

Online payment through IUMS

Like any other online payment method, online payment through IUMS may also fail due to reasons beyond the control of the university. The student opting to pay through online MUST understand this. In case, online payment fails, please follow the following guidelines:

  1. DO NOT initiate another payment immediately on a failure of the payment.

  2. Wait for some time, preferably a for DAY to allow the system to confirm the payment. Sometimes, banks take some time to confirm the payment.

  3. Check your bank account to see if the amount is really debited. In some cases, payment once debited is again re-deposited to the bank.

  4. If you are certain that the amount is debited from your bank, take out a bank statement from your bank, get it signed by the bank official, and deposit the same in your respective department on or before 25 August, 2022.

অন্য প্ৰচলিত অনলাইন পদ্ধতি সমূহৰ নিচিনাকৈ, প্ৰৱেশ মাচুল পৰিশোধ কৰাৰ সময়তো কেতিয়াবা, এই ৰাশি বিভিন্ন কাৰণত (যি কাৰণ সমূহ গুৱাহাটী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ আয়ত্বৰ বাহিৰৰ) পৰিশোধ ন'হ'ব পাৰে৷ অনলাইন পদ্ধতিত পৰিশোধ কৰিব খোজা ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰী সকলে এই কথাৰ ওপৰত মন দিয়া উচিত৷ যদি কোনোবা ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীয়ে এই পৰিস্থিতিৰ সন্মুখীন হয়, তেতিয়া তলত দিয়া পৰামৰ্শ সমূহৰ ওপৰত মন দিয়া উচিত:

  3. ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰী সকলে সচাকৈয়ে, মাচুল পৰিশোধ হৈছেনে নাই, এই কথা জানিবলৈ নিজৰ নিজৰ বেন্ক একাউন্ট পৰীক্ষা কৰা উচিত৷ কেতিয়াবা মাচুল পৰিশোধ হোৱাৰ পাছতো, বেন্কে পুনৰ সেই ধন ৰাশি একাউন্টলৈ ঘূৰাই পঠাই৷

  4. যদি ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰী সকলে নিজৰ বেন্ক একাউন্ট পৰীক্ষা কৰি পায় যে, সচাকৈয়ে প্ৰৱেশ মাচুল বেন্কৰ পৰা আদায় কৰা হৈছে, কিন্তু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পোৱা নাই, তেনে ক্ষেত্ৰত, তেওঁলোকে বেন্কৰ পৰা এখন ৰছিদ চহী কৰাই, নিজৰ নিজৰ বিভাগত যাতে, ২৫ আগস্ট, ২০২২ ৰ আগতে জমা দিয়ে৷
